If you are in the market for a high-performance dynamic gaming mouse that won’t break the bank, Lenovo’s M100 RGB Gaming Mouse may be right up your alley, offering 7 programmable buttons, a precise 3200 DPI sensor, 2-zone 7-color cycling LED backlights, and an ergonomic shape for comfort during long gaming sessions, all for an RRP just south of R300.
For those bucks, you get a decent amount of spec bang, including the ability to get the jump on your FPS rivals thanks to a high-precision sensor that adjusts from 800–3200 DPI, putting an end to latency with a 1000 Hz polling rate, and micro-switch left & right buttons that also offer great reliability with Lenovo saying that these are good for 10 million clicks. Adding to the gripability of the peripheral and ergonomics is the unique Nylex painted surface for enhanced grip and mouse control.
Finding a comfortable spot to connect and use this gaming mouse should also not be problematic due to its 1.8 m PVC USB cable that is durable over long term use, perfect for those unlimited turns sessions in Civilization VI.
Beyond substance, there is also style offered courtesy of 2-zone 7-color cycling LED backlights. These don’t just look good but like stickers on performance cars these actually add some street cred (in our deluded mind anyhow) and quickly helps you identify which DPI setting you’re in during a match with illuminated DPI indicators – making it handy and not just nice to look at in your dark gaming man cave.
All in all, this is a very decent offering at this prcepoint that we loved using during our two week review period.
