Like many brands, Hisense had to find a way to reposition the launch of all their new products being released into the market in 2020.
While most will do the bare minimum, Hisense believes in innovating. This is why the company took the concept of a simple live-stream and turned it into something extraordinary.
Goodbye to the reading out of uninformative spec sheets and hello to embracing Hisense products in the environment they are meant to be enjoyed in – the Home.
On Wednesday the 5th of August, Hisense South Africa showcased an exciting new live stream on Facebook and YouTube which featured five of South Africa’s favourite celebrities, personalities and influencers experiencing all of the brand-new products first hand.
The Home Appliances and cooking range saw Hisense’s very own Luna Nortje cooking up a storm with nationwide superstar DJ “TiMO ODV”.
The gold-selling DJ took things into his own hands on the brand new Hisense Gas Hob (HHU60GASS) while preparing a simple dish, as Luna took the audience on a tour of all the new products in the virtual kitchen.
Viewers tuned into the live steam were the first to see the incredible new Hisense oven (BI5113B), the water-saving Hisense Dishwasher (H13DESS), the sleek Hisense Fridge (H610BS-WD) and the ever so practical Hisense Tumble Dryer (DVDL80S).
The virtual launch then moved over to favourite room for many – the lounge!
Franco Botha – Hisene’s nationwide trainer explored the incredible new series of 4K ULED TV’s with one of South Africa’s best and biggest comedians – Siv Ngesi.
The new array of 4K ULED TV’s includes the U8Q (with built in JBL sound), the U7Q with Full Array Local Dimming and finally the U7W with DTS Virtual-X audio and a beautiful bezel-less design.
Taking a turn into the future, Laser TV was certainly a fan favourite at the virtual launch. Franco explored the awe-inspiring features of the beautiful Laser TV with the incredible Mrs. South Africa 2020 – Jacqueline Ferns.
Jacqueline and Franco helped the audience understand the groundbreaking technology behind the Laser TV as well as it’s practical and healthy use in the modern home!
The smallest devices in this year’s launch truly made a big statement.
AJ from Hisense and international model Bianca Koyabe relaxed on a beautiful virtual patio and seamlessly captured the magic of the new Hisense Infinity Mobile range.
From the new macro camera to the wide angle lens – Bianca and AJ brought to light how incredible the new Infinity H40 will be for all those who love crystal clear content and imagery.
The new devices in the Infinity range are the Hisense Infinity H40, the H40 lite as well as the H40 rock (which boasts unbelievable battery life with a 10.000 mAh battery).
AJ also teased Hisense’s take on 5G devices with the upcoming Hisense F50 smartphone, as well as a tiny MiFi pocket router – with 8 hours of battery life.
Finally, Hisense’s business and aircon products got a chance to shine!
Justin from Hisense briefly explored the ever so smart (yet small) Hisense Portable Aircon (AP-12HR4SEJS00).
Franco then ended off the show with the innovative Hisense Interactive Display Board as well as the new Hisense Commercial Screens and their durable qualities.
Hisense made clear that even in the circumstances the world and South Africa finds itself in, the company is more determined and stronger than ever to make a difference in the lives of people around the world – by means of true innovation.
