Cape Town customers can look forward to expanding their brand insights into the Stellantis stable with the addition of the Peugeot and Citroën brands onto the showroom floor at William Simpson’s Tokai dealership. The existing facility has already been servicing the needs of Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep and prospective owners since 2016.

William Simpson began his used car dealership in 1991. As his success in the industry grew, Simpson purchased a franchise outlet in Fish Hoek, in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town before moving his franchise to Tokai.

The by now well-established dealer group took on a Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge franchise in Newlands in 2016, dedicated to ensuring an even better customer experience than they received previously. This business approach lead the growing dealership to relocate after two successful years to the group’s already well-established facilities in Tokai.

Now the pursuit of consistently offering greater value to its new and existing customers is expanding even more with the addition of Peugeot and Citroën brands from June 2021.

“We’re excited to be even more convenient to Western Cape customers in the Cape Town area as we welcome William Simpson to the Peugeot and Citroën brands,” said Leslie Ramsoomar, Managing Director Stellantis South Africa. “This is yet another step forward for our customers and part of our broader plans to grow our representation across the country.”

The Peugeot and Citroën brands have an exciting 2021 ahead in terms of product. These include the recently launched Peugeot 2008, which has also been nominated as a finalist in the 2021 South African Car of the Year, and 3008 SUV, including the GT line. Also on the cards before the middle of the year will be the 208, while Landtrek will hit local shores towards the end of the year.

The Citroën range will see activity in the form of the recently launched facelifted new C3 and soon to be revealed C3 Aircross around mid-year. The two models join the appealing C5 Aircross, so there will be lots to see and experience at William Simpson this year.

The expanded facility caters for all Peugeot and Citroën’s customer’s needs, including comfortable waiting areas with complimentary WiFi and refreshments. William Simpson is located at 125 Main Road, Tokai and is eager to begin assisting customers in the area.
