The Toyota RAV4, segment pioneer and one of SA’s best-selling compact SUV’s, has received some notable functionality upgrades in response to customer feedback and ever-evolving market requirements.

Tactile Upgrade

The GX-grade RAV4 models receive a tactile upgrade in the form of leather steering wheel- and shift-lever coverings, replacing their previous urethane counterparts.

Safety Tech Upgrade

The luxury VX-grade variants now come equipped with all speed Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) – a functionality upgrade over the previous system that only operated above 40 km/h. In addition, functionality changes have also been brought to the Lane Keeping System – now featuring Lane Trace Control.

Multimedia Upgrade

The RAV4 range is the next recipient in Toyota’s Apple CarPlay and Android Auto roll-out strategy. As such, the new wave of RAV4 models inherit an upgraded infotainment system with Smartphone integration – enabling intuitive use of various smartphone apps for navigation, audio streaming and messaging (amongst others).
