Do you have an innovative business idea rooted in tech? Do you want to be the next Airbnb, Dropbox or Facebook? The French South African Tech Labs (FSAT Labs), a startup incubator based in Cape Town, has opened applications to be apart of the fifth cohort of start-ups selected for the incubation program. Applications are set to close on the 15th of August.

FSAT Labs’ six-month incubation program aims to assist tech entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into minimum viable products and, ultimately into sustainable businesses. Helping start-ups go from the ideation phase all the way to market. Unlike many other incubation programs, FSAT Labs does not require an equity stake in your business. We provide our support free of charge, in partnership with the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA).

The selected startups will receive weekly coaching sessions, workshops with industry leaders, office space in Century City, all with a combined value of R250 000. Some of our partners that will be presenting workshops include Jumo, Mazars, Methys and PitchLab. Once your startup is ready for investment, we will help you to raise your first round of funding, often in the form of a grant or venture capital funding.

To apply, click here (or visit http://fsatlabs.co.za/apply-now/) and complete the application. Selected startups will be invited to a Selection Bootcamp where the best startups will win entry into FSAT Labs’ six-month program, set to kick off September 2019. Please note, startup founders will be required to live in the Cape Town area.
